Deleting your Envi Account is different from signing out or uninstalling Envi. Deletion removes access on every device and cannot be undone.
Delete from Envi
When a public build is available:
- Open Envi Options.
- Find the Account section.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the account-access and billing warnings, then select Continue.
- Select Delete Account again to confirm permanent deletion.
- Keep Envi open while the request finishes. Your system browser can open so you can reauthenticate the same Google or Apple identity.
If reauthentication opens, sign in with the provider identity already attached to the account being deleted. A different identity cannot redirect deletion and will be signed out from that attempt.
What happens immediately
After the backend accepts deletion, Envi:
- permanently disables the Envi Account;
- revokes every Envi session family across devices;
- rejects new Translation, Dictionary, and remote Voice requests;
- cancels active work on the current device;
- clears the current device's secure session; and
- deletes current usage projections.
A remote provider request accepted before the deletion tombstone is committed can already be executing. Envi closes active work on the current device through its normal cancellation path, but the first public version does not claim a separate cross-instance cancellation channel.
Deletion timeline
MAVOS initiates deletion of the associated authentication-provider user and schedules non-required live Envi Account metadata for deletion within 30 days. Short-lived sign-in and exchange records expire sooner under their normal schedules. Session records are revoked immediately and have a deletion schedule no later than their 30-day idle deadline.
Google documents that removal from Firebase systems and backups can take up to 180 days. Some provider administrative or fraud-prevention records follow provider-controlled retention. MAVOS configures those records not to contain selected text or translation responses.
MAVOS retains a purchase or finance record after account deletion only when a law, tax, refund, chargeback, accounting, or dispute duty requires it. Those records are separated from product access, restricted, reduced to the minimum fields, and deleted when the approved period ends.
Envi has no saved Selection, Translation, Dictionary, clipboard, voice-text, or audio history to delete from a MAVOS product database.
Cancel billing separately
Deleting your Envi Account does not cancel an Apple or merchant-of-record subscription. Cancel at the billing source shown in Envi before deleting the account if you do not want the subscription to renew.
Paid subscriptions are not yet offered. When billing launches, this page will link directly to each supported cancellation destination.
If you cannot access Envi
Email willnguyen.services@gmail.com with the subject Envi Account Deletion. Explain that you cannot use the in-app action and identify whether you signed in with Google or Apple.
Do not email a password, one-time code, provider token, Envi session credential, payment-card number, selected text, or identity-document scan. MAVOS will provide a private verification path if additional proof is necessary.
After deletion
You can later sign in again and create a new Envi Account. The first public version does not restore deleted preferences, usage, entitlement bindings, or history. A new account does not automatically recover a subscription that remained bound to a deleted account; billing support and the applicable Store rules determine any available remedy.
