Release status

Envi has no signed public download yet. This page will be updated with Store links and released-version requirements after certification.

Include:

Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, session credentials, payment-card data, private selected text, or confidential documents. If an example is necessary, replace it with non-sensitive sample text.

MAVOS has not published a guaranteed response time. We will acknowledge and handle support requests as operating capacity allows.

Release status

Envi is currently available only as source code for local development. MAVOS is preparing signed public builds for the Mac App Store, Microsoft Store, and Snap Store. A website or package claiming to offer an official Envi installer before links appear on this page is not an authorized MAVOS release.

The current source project has completed end-to-end acceptance on Windows 11 x86_64 and Intel macOS. Apple silicon, Windows ARM64, and Ubuntu Xorg artifacts do not yet have the same public-release acceptance status. Future Store targets below are not claims of current support.

Translation does not start

When public builds are available, check these items first:

  1. Confirm the computer is online.
  2. Confirm Envi shows an active account. Public provider work stops if Envi cannot verify the current account and service tier.
  3. Select text again, then use the configured Translation Shortcut.
  4. On macOS, follow the permissions shown by the exact Store build. The Mac App Store version has a reduced interaction model.
  5. On Windows, Envi cannot capture text from an application running with higher privileges than Envi.
  6. On Ubuntu, use Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 GNOME on Xorg. Wayland, WSLg, other desktop environments, and other architectures are not supported by the first Snap target.

Voice does not play

System Voice remains the default and does not require Paid Tier. An optional cloud voice is planned for Paid Tier. If cloud voice is unavailable, select System Voice rather than repeatedly sending the same request.

Sign-in and accounts

Public Envi uses a system browser for Google or Apple sign-in. A successful provider sign-in verifies that identity, so there is no separate email-verification step.

Google and Apple identities remain separate Envi Accounts, even when their email addresses match. The first version does not link, unlink, merge, transfer, or recover one provider identity through the other.

Billing help

Paid subscriptions are not yet offered. When they become available, the billing source shown in Envi will control cancellation, refunds, renewal, and payment details. Deleting an Envi Account will not cancel a Store or merchant subscription.

Delete your account

Use the Delete Account action inside Envi whenever possible. For the complete steps, retention timeline, and billing warning, read Delete your Envi Account.

If you cannot access Envi, email support with the subject Envi Account Deletion. Do not include a password, provider token, session credential, or identity-document scan. MAVOS will provide a private verification path if one is required.

Security reports

Email willnguyen.services@gmail.com with the subject Envi Security. Do not place an unpatched vulnerability or account data in a public GitHub issue.
